The Acura RDX Platinum Elite, a car that hasn't changed one bit since the last time we drove it. And you know what? That's not necessarily a bad thing. This SUV still packs a punch with its 2.0L turbo four-cylinder engine, delivering a respectable 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. But the real star of the show is the super handling all-wheel drive system, or as Acura likes to call it, "SH-AWD". And let me tell you, it lives up to the hype.

Now, let's talk about the looks. The RDX still looks really good, with sharp body lines that pop and an overall sleek design. The wheels, well, they're just alright. They could've been a bit more exciting, but hey, I guess you can't have it all. And speaking of excitement, where's the Type S RDX? Acura, come on, give us something to get our hearts racing.

Inside the RDX, things are a bit of a mixed bag. The gauge cluster is a bit outdated, but it does have a cool Terminator eye that grows bigger when you boost. The infotainment system, however, is a different story. It's the worst one on the market, with a touchpad that's more frustrating than trying to untangle a slinky. But hey, at least we still have Apple CarPlay.

When it comes to driving dynamics, the RDX doesn't disappoint. The super handling all-wheel drive system does its job, keeping us glued to the road and making us feel like driving heroes. The steering wheel feels great in our hands, and the seats are comfortable with just the right amount of bolstering. And let's not forget about the ample power and low-end torque that this car delivers. It's a joy to drive, even if the automatic transmission isn't the most thrilling.

So, is the Acura RDX Platinum Elite worth it? Well, it's got its flaws, like the outdated infotainment system and lack of a Type S variant. But overall, it's still a solid SUV that offers a great driving experience and a stylish design. If you can overlook its shortcomings, it's definitely worth considering.
