In this latest installment from the Adam LZ channel, the team embarks on a mission to upgrade their beloved E36 project car, affectionately known as "Stinky." With a determined resolve, they tackle various issues plaguing the vehicle, including a crank sensor problem and a non-functional handbrake. But fear not, for the team is armed with the necessary tools and expertise to overcome these obstacles.
With their unwavering dedication, they manage to resolve the crank sensor issue and successfully get the handbrake up and running. A clever bracket from Sweger proves to be the key, allowing them to mount and tie into the factory handbrake components, transforming it into an inline Hydro. This modification ensures that the handbrake can be engaged, providing an added layer of control and safety during intense drifting sessions.
But that's not all! The team proudly showcases their latest addition to Stinky - a kill switch. No more fumbling with screwdrivers to start the car; now, with the flick of a button, the power surges through the vehicle, ready to unleash its full potential. However, there's a small hiccup - they haven't figured out a way to turn it off yet. But no worries, they simply put the car in gear and stall it to shut it down. Problem solved, albeit in a slightly unconventional manner.
As the team delves deeper into the project, they strip Stinky down to its bare bones, revealing a surprisingly clean and well-maintained chassis. The sight fills them with excitement, as they envision the car's transformation into a true beauty. Plans are set in motion to incorporate leftover blue parts, such as bumpers and a wing, to give Stinky a fresh and aggressive look. They contemplate the best options, considering the aesthetics and functionality of each component, ultimately deciding on the perfect combination that will elevate Stinky's appearance to new heights.
But as with any project, challenges arise. The team encounters a slight setback when they discover a rust issue in the chassis. Undeterred, they formulate a plan to rectify the problem, involving the removal of the affected area and the installation of a new section. With their expertise and determination, they are confident that Stinky will soon regain its pristine condition.
