In this exhilarating episode, Adam LZ takes us on a wild ride with his Safari GTR project. With a visit to Monster Performance, the GTR undergoes its first start and tune, promising a healthy 500 horsepower. But that's not all; Adam also installs a top-of-the-line PWR intercooler to keep those intake air temperatures in check. This beast is built for performance!
But let's not forget about the Nismo off-road lineup. Adam's excitement is palpable as he unveils the Nismo off-road roof rack, front bumper, and fog lights. And here's the twist: these parts are designed for a Frontier, but Adam is determined to make them work on his GTR. With some modifications and measurements, he's ready to take on the challenge.
To ensure the utmost safety and durability, Adam turns to Bell Race Works for a custom bash bar and skid plate. Arthur, the master fabricator, works his magic, creating a strong and stylish front crash bar that perfectly complements the Safari GTR's rugged aesthetic. And let's not forget the skid plate, essential for off-roading adventures.
But the excitement doesn't end there. Adam plans to mount the roof rack using Seasucker suction cups, a clever solution that eliminates the need for drilling or modifying the car's structure. With this setup, Adam can carry all his gear, from gas cans to whatever else he needs for his off-road escapades.
As the episode concludes, the crew works tirelessly to modify the roof rack while Adam is away. Using a chemical stripper, they remove the paint from the parts, revealing the raw aluminum underneath. With a pressure washer, they clean the parts, preparing them for powder coating and welding.
This episode is a testament to Adam's dedication and passion for creating a truly unique Safari GTR. With each modification and upgrade, the car becomes more capable and ready to conquer any off-road challenge that comes its way. Stay tuned for the next thrilling installment of Adam LZ's Safari GTR project!
