Now, I have to say, it's quite mind-boggling to think that you could get a used Audi S3 or even an S4 for the same money as this little A1. I mean, come on, who would choose a tiny hatchback when you could have a powerful sports car or a luxurious sedan?
Let's start with the A1. It's the baby of the Audi range, and while it may look good and have a decent interior, it's just not that exciting. Sure, it's got a snazzy paint job and some upgraded features, but it's still a small car with a small engine. And let's not forget that it costs over £30,000. I mean, seriously?
Now, let's move on to the S3. This is where things start to get interesting. With its 310 horsepower engine, seven-speed automatic gearbox, and Quattro all-wheel drive, this car is a beast. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.31 seconds. That's less than half the time of the A1! Plus, it's got a more sophisticated chassis and a more luxurious interior. It's a no-brainer, really.
But wait, there's more. How about the S4? For about the same price as the A1, you can get a 2018 S4 with 354 horsepower. That's right, a sedan with more power than the A1. And it looks fantastic too, with its black paint, shiny alloy wheels, and red brake calipers. Inside, it's a whole different story. The interior is more grown-up and expensive-feeling, with red leather seats and a dash that just screams luxury.
In conclusion, why settle for a small hatchback when you can have a powerful sports car like the S3 or a luxurious sedan like the S4 for the same price? The Audi A1 may be the baby of the range, but it's just not in the same league as these other models. So, if you're in the market for a new car, I'd definitely recommend checking out the used Audi options. You'll get more bang for your buck, that's for sure.
