The Bishop family of Max Meadows, Virginia has a long and storied automotive history, and Hagerty was lucky enough to be invited to document a chapter of it. In episode 44 of the Barn Find Hunter series, Hagerty visited the Bishop family farm and heard stories of Richard Petty buying motors and stock car racing. Fast forward to today, and Hagerty has returned to the Bishop family farm to pick up the 1937 Ford race car that was in the process of being restored.
The car had been sitting for seven years, but with the help of the Bishop family and Hagerty, it was brought back to life. The car was detailed, painted, and ready to be taken to car shows, race tracks, and Cars and Coffee. The Bishop family was thrilled to see the car and to have a piece of their family history brought back to life. Hagerty is proud to be part of the Bishop family's automotive journey and to be able to share it with the world. \
