In this adrenaline-fueled episode from the Cleetus McFarland YouTube channel, the team takes their beastly machine, McFlurry, to the drag strip in pursuit of the elusive six-second quarter-mile time. With a renewed sense of determination, they have addressed some technical issues, including a boost leak and a pesky vacuum leak. The team is feeling confident and ready to unleash the full potential of McFlurry.
Their first run is nothing short of spectacular, as McFlurry surprises everyone by tearing down the track in a blistering 7.11 seconds at a mind-boggling 192 mph. The team is ecstatic, but they're not satisfied. They decide to push the limits even further and go for a full quarter-mile run on the next attempt. McFlurry, however, has other plans and does a power wheelie, but manages to keep it under control and still clocks an impressive 7.14 seconds at 194 mph.
Undeterred by the wheelie antics, the team continues to fine-tune the car's tune and aims to extract more boost from the engine. On their final run of the day, McFlurry once again does a wheelie, but this time it proves to be a bit more challenging to handle. Nevertheless, the team still manages to achieve a respectable time of 7.15 seconds at 194 mph.
While they didn't quite hit their goal of a six-second run, the team remains optimistic and satisfied with the progress they've made. They plan to regroup after the Thanksgiving break and return to the track with renewed determination to conquer the elusive six-second barrier. McFlurry may not have achieved its ultimate goal just yet, but it has certainly left its mark on the drag strip and left everyone hungry for more.
